What? Fact: At full load, current quad-core CPUs can pull upwards of 150 watts. (C2Q QX6800 rated at 130W TDP, and TDP isn't max) Fact: At full load, current high-end GPUs pull upwards of 220 watts or more. Fact: 680i/X38 are looking at power consumption of 30+ watts You're already at >400 watts. Add conversion inefficiencies, 4 sticks of high-end memory, 4 or 5 hard drives, several fans, and other motherboard/system components, and you're easily at 500W+ under a full load condition. How much margin are you comfortable with? Greg
