Thank you.  I sorta feel a bit vindicated.  Not completely, but
getting there.......On this List position is often tough.
I am happy to be 1 on those 8 million other users. W2k for all its'
faults just plain works from the get-go. (from my perspective :))
I still do w2Ksp4 because now I see it is really
expensive to move to XP, like about $300 retail in my area.
5x300 is not in my budget ATM.
Maybe I need to buy a bunch of hard drives.............. :)
From my read "vista" is a no-go yet.
So I sit, again, on another antique OS.
Been here, done this.  Still kicking.................:)

Not only that but in the early days of XP we had to use 2k drivers to get some devices working so there can't be that much difference between 2k, XP & 2k3.
