Just noticed it really over the last week. I can't do ANYTHING else on my machine while surfing the net with firefox. Every time I load a page or anything it spikes the CPU to 100%, such that even listening to mp3s through iTunes stops.
I know my system isn't the fastest out there - 2400+ Tbird, 2 GB of DDR, nForce4 - but damn I would think you would be able to surf the net and listen to some music at the same time. Thoughts on what could be causing it? Maybe something windows is doing network wise? -- Brian Weeden
