It now appears that my current MW Oven is grossly disturbing my xdsl connection. In the am when I heat water for coffee (2 minutes on high!), after about 10-20 seconds
of MWO runtime, the dsl connection just goes away.
I initially moved the router and dsl modem to my "techroom" 1st BR. This did not help.
xdsl still goes away.
Now, I have moved the router and modem to the back (guest) 2d BR. Now the xdsl
components are ~80ft. from the kitchen and 15ft. closer to the BellSouth NID.

Is the MWOven broadcasting through the AC powerline? All PC gear is on a UPS.

The one problem I have not yet fixed is that the MWO is 6in from the main phone line block on the kitchen/dining room wall. It has 2 xdsl filters; one for the RShack phone, and one for my alternate V.92 dial-up modem. I thought about wrapping both xdsl filters with tin foil, but have not yet done this. Both these phone lines go through APC UPS
phone filters...... :( This one is weird!

All suggestions, rants, opinions, whatever, accepted.
Best,
Duncan
