WoW is still undeniably the best MMO by a long shot. I played EQ (for over 4 years!) and EQ2 before WoW and could never go back due to the flexable and (mostly) stree-free environment WoW offers.
If you like PvP, then keep an eye on Warhammer - it will be the game that crosses WoW with Guild Wars. Otherwise, I fail to see anything as engrossing and pleasuable to play as WoW for the time-being. At the very least, if you have enjoyed WoW so far take a look at WotLK when it releases before deciding. I used to play the game really hardcore but have since backed-off and log in for 1-2 raids each week plus once or twice to do the daily heroic with freinds or play our weekly 10 arena matches, finding myself enjoying the game more now then ever............Less can be more :) Regards, Jason Tozer Database Analyst London Ext 1131 - 3SC.5 -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Joe User Sent: 12 December 2007 13:47 To: The Hardware List Subject: [H] MMORPGs Hello, So I've been doing WoW (because of this list mind you) for 3 years. It was better (and worse - mostly better) then EQ. My guild is nearly thru the end game content. I'm not excited about WotLK expansion. I'm pretty disgusted with the lack of work done by the artists in this game. I think overall, my WoW days are drawing to an end. However, once again, the list did well by me in getting me into this game. So, now my question are these. What are you playing now and what do you plan to play? Thanks. -- Regards, joeuser - Still looking for the 'any' key... This message and any attachment are confidential and may be privileged or otherwise protected from disclosure.
