I am ready for all comments/suggestions/shots.....!....... :) My server's video stream is getting fuzzy/shabby/odd. It still works, but can not control the future of it.
I have an old server m/b; Intel STL2. It has an embedded ATI Rage IIc on it. But, I do not have the drivers/utilities CD for the m/b. OOPs! But I did find that Geeks.com will sell me a whitebox STL2 for $29.99 that has a drivers CD! May snag this just to have a FRU. I have been to both Intel and DAMMIT. The only driver I can find for this video object is a driver for W95/98/ME. Yet, my server runs W2KServer. Is this a case of "install a new video card?" "Turn OFF the onboard video source and get on down the road!" I can do this. I do have a spare PCI FX5500. No, am not ready to do a mass upgrade of the server! The server runs just fine ATM.
