Saving to .mht files works pretty well, when IE doesn't lock up that is. Still, I managed to get an entire website with each page being a single file. Had to save off downloads separately as it links back to the original page...if that's gone, a no go.

Alternatively, I used to use an app called Teleport Pro. Haven't used it in
years, and it isn't free, but it did an excellent job at mirroring websites.

Not interested in stealing, mind you. I just need to preserve the info
there so that I can look at it after the website disappears.

Doesn't Acrobat (not the reader) do that?
