Brian,

Have you tried moving the wireless receiver closer to the keyboard? It might also be good to try wrapping the cord of the receiver with foil to eliminate that is the path for the EMI. Ultimately, I'd replace the KB with a newer model but it would be interesting to know where the EMI is creeping in.

It is plugged directly into the case, no KVM here.

It is sort of old...maybe 3-4 years back.

And yes, the LCD is quite lovely so if I had to make a choice I would dump
the wireless KB and go with one of the light-up Saitek dealies.

Brian,
Do you plug/run your kbd/mouse/display into a KVM device?
If yes, try wiring the kbd/mouse direct to the PC.
If not, Yes I would suggest that you need to speak with Samsung.
From your description, this problem started with the new panel!
Bummer......(I still lust for a Samsung!)
And, there could be other spec-BS going on here also!
Like, how old (really!) is you wireless kbd/mouse combo. If it was
early wireless (you were an "early adoptor"), it may just NOT be filtered
well enough to deal with the 'still maturing' flat panels screens.
I'm not dealing specs. I am only trying to recall all your past
updates/tweaks
from when you were in CO........ :)

Duncan

My inclination is to suspect the monitor. They keyboard was working

coincidence, but probably not.

I would assume the problem is with the monitor rather than the
keyboard/mouse.

I have a Logitech Cordless Desktop Pro and on the back it says:

"Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device
may
not cause harmful interference and (2) This device must accept any
interference received. Including interference that may cause undesired
operation."

Seems a rather curious statement. However, your keyboard may indeed
be
faulty.

It, apparently has an RF leak of some sort, but, my question would
be
what
is it doing to you, Brian? Have you been able to get any information
from
Samsung? Could the monitor itself be defective?

Done multiple times. I am positive it is being caused by the LCD.
 If
the
keyboard is more than 2 feet away from the monitor, it works great.
Within
18" it stops working all together.

 Works
awesome, except I think it is causing interference with my

My first inclination would be to check and/or replace the batteries
in
the keyboard and mouse.
