1TB drive! I suspect that the bios does not have any mapping for a drive that large. MHO. I have frequently seen older m/b's not (never) supporting newer technology. I believe it is just part of the course of technology. It seems that m/b's are normally made to support most current technology and as much old tech as can be stuffed in. I do not believe m/b's are made that have much of a future compatibility aspect. JMHO.
