Nlite is the cat's meow for slipstreaming service packs, and also for
removing stuff you don't want or need outta the install CD.. :)

Maybe. I'm trying to analyze the System Event log now and maybe will do some
registry hacking first. Also, I've never done a slipstreamed repair - don't
know for sure how to make the disk and uncomfortable trying it out for the
first time on something I can't afford to screw up.
I may revisit this if I don't get anywhere with the event log.
