And supported. I learned my lesson a long time ago when I tried Autopatcher at the recommendation of some on this list, and the machines I used it on just seemed to give more odd behavior. Add to that the situation in which some Vista images prepared with vlite were unable to apply SP1...absolutely no way I'll use any of that garbage.
My machines, and those (over 300 installs) I'm involved with at work, generally go a very long time between reinstalls. I don't want to fight potential issues in 1, 2, or 3 years after initial setup. Now I use slipstreaming and WSUS/WU exclusively, plus sysprep and Acronis at work.
