You will be fine, pretty sure your BIOS will allow upto 2^64 bits of address space to work with (2048 PetaBytes), so it has PLENTY of room to squeeze that 1GB of VRAM in ;)
There are no other considerations when talking about videa card RAM sizes that I am aware of. The vast majority of 32 bit apps work on Vista 64. I have yet to find anything that doesn't other then stuff that comes with - or ties itself closely - to device drivers. I have no idea about TalkWorks as it's not something I have ever used. All 16 bit support is severed in Vista x64 though, which means some VERY old 32bit apps have issues installing due to 16 bit installers hanging around for a while.
