I've tried looking up these two problems on the net and the answers are all over the place, maybe someone here has some real experience.
Problem 1: AT&T AT&T keeps telling me to set SSL on for both incoming and outgoing mail. When I set it for incoming mail, I can't get any and the error message is that the server does not support SSL. Answer from AT&T: We don't support Thunderbird, but we can send you over to Support Plus! Temporary Solution: Turn off SSL and I get email. It's worked for the past few months. Problem 2: Cox HSI My house has both Cox (my wife) and AT&T (me), when I try to use my cox email address over the AT&T DSL, I can receive mail, but not send it. Error is that the Server is not responding. Answer from Cox: We don't support Thunderbird. Temporary Solution: None, tried all sorts of options, nothing seems to work. Any ideas? Experience? Thanks....Steve
