#1: Make sure you're using the right host and ports. Implicit POP3 SSL is
995/tcp, SMTP SSL is 465/tcp. Some clients will not change the port
automatically.

#2: You need to request that your port 25/tcp outbound block be lifted. Use
the Abuse Report form here:
http://helpme.att.net/servabuse.php

and select **Opt Out Port 25 in the Abuse Type dropdown.
