And as far as familiarity==comfort goes, XP behaves more or less
exactly the same as Windows 2000 in most situations, at least after a
few changes to the theme and the start menu settings.

remain the single, vocal, early Vista adopter that seems to have

problems with Vista. I do not get the same feeling of others in this
collective that use Vista. Please, I do not wish to start another OS
war. Different strokes, after all!
I fully accept that you feel my 9-year old OS could be causing some
odd
issues. But, I will say that I have zero OS related problems in the 9
years
I have used w2kpro. W2k has been completely stable for my needs. I
will
deal with any problems as I migrate my machines to WinXPpro.
