W.D.,

The old machine has 2x scsi 18.4GB Cheetahs. So, I have 4x 9GB partitions.
And the primary c:\ boot partition is seriously out of free space (>800MB) !!!!

I'll check your suggestions, but I fear that I do not a whole lot of experience with all the tricks you gurus use. I'll read........... :) I have lot's of time to do this operation...........like, this is NOT really critical data. Sure, the old machine does have 5 games that are in various states of completion! But, if I really had to just start all over and reload all the "stuff, no real biggie!!!! LOL!
But, if I can avoid this, I would like to.
Thank you,
Duncan

How much data?

Suggestions:

- Burn to DVD uncompressed.
- Backup to external hard drive uncompressed.
- Use Beyond Compare for backup and verification.
- Dupeless2 for verification and dupe elimination.
