Personally I would of gone with a Rampage II. More truthfully I would not be forking
out $$$ for DDR3 anything just yet. After Antec raped me on bad cap PSU I'd never
give them another dime and that case is no where near as nice as a Cosmo, Stacker,
Armor+, etc... Would have gone > 750W PSU. Single Raptor a total waste of money,
especially at the cost/GB IMHO.
Major over-spend in general but future proof for an extra 12mo at a premium.

I know, I know, my limit was $300. But the lower power consumption and heat
(I only have a 750W PS) enticed me to spend a little more.
All I have left for my build is the MB (Asus P6T deluxe) and 2 1TB drives.
I will be using the velociraptor 150 as the boot drive. I wanted to get the
MB last so that I can get the latest revision on it.
Here's what I have so far (in case anyone is interested):
Intel Core I7 920 (will start off with the stock cooler - which is bigger
than I expected)
Corsair Dominator 6GB (3x2GB) CL 8 RAM
Antec 900 case
PC Power and cooling 750W PS
2 - Lite-On LightScribe DVD writers
1 - Velociraptor 150GB HD
Vista Ultimate 64-bit SP1
Hauppauge 1800 TV tuner
I will wait until I have it built to see if I need more than the on-board
sound.
