I bought two Dell 22" wide-scrren LCD monitors (2208WFP). I have a Dell
Optiplex 745(?) running WINXP SP2 and a ATI X1300PRO 256MB video card.
The X1300 has a single DVI connector, but with a Y-splitter, I should be
able to have two DVI cables or two VGA cables - one to each monitor -
depending on which splitter I use. I want to use dual DVI, but problem
is, I can only get one monitor to turn on when I try to extend the
desktop. Whatever the magic combination of drivers, cables and
configuration switches is, I haven't been able to figure it out.
My intention is to run both monitors at native LCD resolution (1680x1050).
Any help appreciated.
