JRS,
I have read your share many times. I do not get what your point is?
I am [email protected]. ATT reports me as:
{[email protected]
{[email protected]
I do use my EmailAlias for traffic. I choose NOT to broadcast my assigned
UID with every email I try to send; and, why Bellsouth explains the use of
my Email Alias............................... :(
Suspect I could be dorked up big time here................. :)
I have gone thru the ATT required process to [move] myself to {?}.
I believe I have moved to {?}; or, so the tech support reps tell me.
Email BS continues.................
Understand "Incoming mail server: POP3", but the "POP3" label is not
available to me as I drive the windows.....in TBird and Eudora......
Still reading..................
Best,
Duncan

JRS,
Please excuse my continued confusion.
I did get to the "att.net" support faqs. Yes, I did find several articles
that speak to Eudora and Thunderbird...........
But,
These articles seem to speak to existing folk that are part of ATT.NET; not
us add-ins from Bellsouth.net. Sorry to be so dense...........
Have I now been promoted to ATT.NET? My UID/PW has not changed. If so, I
will create the new Eudora Persona per the FAQs I've read so far.
Did print all the Thunderbird stuff for further study...........
BTW, ATT.net does not accept SSL transaction from Eudora v5.0.2 and
earlier. I use v5.1.1 (paid). There is a pointer to Eudora v7.0.1, but I
choose not to accept a "free" version with ADs.
I would rather just retire Eudora and move to Thunderbird.............. :)
Thank you.
Best,
Duncan
