Asus P5Q series would be my recommendation.
go with DDR2 though, Core2's don't see much if any benefit from DDR3,
so presuming your ddr2 is up to sped (667 or faster?) then you're away.
Why a Q9550S in though? they're a lot pricer than the Q9550, do you
have an extremely tight thermal/power budget to stick within?
