If you install it is it something you can uninstall... or disable it? Or does it become part of the OS ... something that you couldn't get apart with jack hammer and a decompiler.

i.e. it will find the word AUDIT even inside PDF and PPT files.  That is
cruical for me.

Google desktop works perhaps better, but I found it too "intrusive".
