Not that old.. :)
Although my main laptop is a MacBook aluminum unibody, I have an IBM
T41 and a Dell D600 around that both have P4 1.6 Mobile processors and
like a gig of ram
that I constantty use for testing OS's, different Linux distros, etc.
Both had updates to 80 gig 7200 rpm drives and they work great to this
day.
One currently has Windows 7 RC on it, the other has Ubuntu 9.04..
They sit on my coffee table in Hibernate mode most of the time
and the guys just pick 'em up and use 'em whenever they come over...
Interestingly enuff, they both use Firefox, so the guys have no
problems whether using Ubuntu or Windows, they don't seem to have any
issues either way..
