I put one version on a Flash drive as a portable app...
I only use it when I'm at a machine with no "MS" Office installed...

Works slower this way, and/OR you could put the "portable" version
on the HD for a "no-install" test drive...
http://portableapps.com/ These are the NON-u3 types.

If you have a U3 drive, see here:
http://www.u3.com/

Compatibility across the different companies is something you need to
test yourself. Simple types of files work great...

Seeking opinions about use and computability of the (Sun) OpenOffice.org office suite (Writer, Calc, Impress)?

If you use it, do you like it?

Can W/C/I docs be shared/read/used by others still using MS Office modules? And/or vice versa?

Wondering?
Best,
Duncan
