1. Backup your profile folder!
Key is to manually create a TB (FF also works this way) profile using
"Thunderbird.exe -profilemanger" which lets you point to the folder you want to use
rather than it creating a random named folder.
Since I keep My Documents, Firefox & TBird profiles, etc... on a TrueCrypt volume
mounted as P:, it matters not what OS or logon I use those key folders are windows
profile agnostic! Pointing FF & TB to this setup has worked flawlessly through
windows dual boots, reinstalls & upgrades.

Okay, now I am coming live from Windows 7....No complaints so
far...except with M-Audio. It seems that they wrote their 64bit driver
to only detect Vista64, so it refused to install. To my chagrin, the
Realtek High Definition Driver actually sounds better on the same
speakers....
Anyways, Tbird is now installed under 7, so does anyone know how to get
my mail copied over? It's still on the other drive, but Tbird did not
give me any option to copy from Tbird....
Thanks...Steve
