Dude, if you're building a new PC now and *don't* get an SSD...you're doing 
yourself a serious disservice.  Yeah, it's not cheap, but read the multitude of 
articles that say it's the singlest biggest paradigm shift in computing in 
years in terms of speed increase and it should be a no-brainer!  You can really 
cut back on all the other parts to pay for the SSD and you'd still have a 
faster system than someone who didn't have one!


But yeah, I'd say you need at least a 160GB one; I have two WD 74GB 10k Raptors 
in RAID0 on my main system and multiple TB drives for data, so a 160 Intel G2 
should hold you in good stead...HTH!
