I have rebuild an old machine. It now runs fine w/o BSODS. WinXP pro SP3. Yes, it does have a [d:\SHARE] folder/directory.
Machine's XPpro seems to run just fine, otherwise.

This client (lib) will NOT let any other LAN client copy/move anything into ITS' [SHARE] directory. Yet the directory is clearly SEEN from other LAN clients (?).

I get access denied and read/write access business.
I localize this to some goof on this new client rebuild.
Am I incorrect?

I am willing to shut down the whole LAN ATM, and start again. Willing to share internal info if necessary.

This client gets freely to the internet.
(~80 Winupdates prove this to me.)

The client clearly sees all other LAN clients.
The client gets to each 'other LAN' client's [SHARE] and freely moves files {PULL only}.
All clients use the same ADMIN Uname and PW.
All clients have the same working desktops (ME and ADMIN).

What have I NOT done properly?

I am ready to erase and start over! It's only ~80 WinUpdates!
Unless... :)

Best,
Duncan
