I don't have Google Voice, just the new one that comes with Gmail.. Set it up for my mom and she loves it.
She uses a headphone and mic I bought her and she can call her friends in Europe for 4-5 cents a minute instead of the 20-25 cents ATT was charging her.. She also loves calling my bro in MO for free, as well as her friends in Cincinnati, etc... We don't have the full blown Google voice stuff though, just the new Google Calls recently added to Gmail.. I know she used it to call her friend John in Australia this weekend, and the cost was only 2 cents a minute for her one hour call. A buck 20 is nothing for that long a call compared to what she used to pay. :) On Sep 19, 2010, at 2:37 PM, Winterlight wrote: > Has anybody initiated calls yet from their Google voice account.
