I haven't used that particular model, but I do use the 1000W (then-flagship) 
Seasonic Platinum. I have not noticed any noise coming from the unit.

Corsair PSUs are usually very good, but they use multiple OEMs. None of them 
are junk, but I'm a big Seasonic fan at the moment.

Do you use the one you showed a link for?  I see there is a lot of reviews 
stating that the power supply has a wine noise. Could this noise be from the 
components inside the power supply?
