Their RMA process is stellar. I had one start to make fan noise. Normally I'd just replace the fan or just replace the unit (it was an older, lower end model), but it still had some warranty coverage so I decided to use it as a test case for Seasonic's return process. I got an RMA number and sent it back in. I intentionally did a marginal pack job - not bad, but nowhere near my typical standard. They returned a replacement quickly. However, it had an electronic noise at typical load levels. I contacted them again, and they just sent out another replacement. When I asked if they were going to send out a return label, they asked me to just discard the first replacement unit. It is unfortunate when a replacement part arrives with a defect, but it does happen - at least they took quick action to resolve it without placing more burden on me.
I expect components to fail; as I get older, I place more and more importance on how the company handles that failure when it does inevitably occur.
