hooked up my powerline networking stuff in my shop, detached garage
on a subpanel.Very poor connection, but it did connect. Tried
both legs of the circuit. No go. In the house to my son's computer
lan speeds tripled from wify.
I am wondering if the fact that the neutral and common are separate
in a subpanel ( even though they are on the same ground bus in the
main panel ) I am going to jumper the neutral and ground in the
subpanel and see what shakes
any ideas on that appreciated. I know that is not code in a subpanel.
first step is to check all connections.
