[H] laptop hard drive

I am helping a good friend with his laptop. He needs a bigger hard 
drive. This is primarily a business hard drive so reliability and 
data safety is of utmost important.  I am thinking of recommending a 
1TB  Seagate Hybrid Drive ... are these just as bullet proof as any 
other Quality plain SATA drive? Thanks
