that is the plan. Not sure this is the cause but I recently removed
the reserved partition, no particular reason just to play. System
booted and ran fine without but that is when the error emerged. For
some reason at that point none of my backup sw worked, would not
clone. Would not read from source or better yet target drive freaked
out. ( cloning sw tried to make like 8 partitions, very confused.) me
too :'( Everything else ran fine.
After a couple of attempts finally chldsk did something and system
would not boot. restored from a full system clone ( which put the
reserved partition back in.)
Could this bug still be because of that ?
ordered a Samsung 1tb to replace it. Been just buying crucial but I
thought I would give Samsung a shot.
if it would maybe make things clearer I can post the commands I used
to move the boot stuff over b4 I deleted the reserved partition.

It could be there are dead sectors or there is something wrong with the
controller IC on the SSD itself.
I suggest imaging the SSD over to the new SSD.
