Then you will need an amp because the modern sound card does not have
the power to drive a speaker.... although some of the old ISA sound
cards could drive a tiny speaker.
You need an old receiver or something like this

plug the sound card green plug OUT into the receiver AUX or amp using
a cable that is stereo phone jack to RCA. Then hook the speaker up to the amp.
or get your self a self amped speaker ....note it will have to be
plugged in or battery powered.

No, this is a just a speaker, no amp on it at all. It's one of
those speakers used in paging systems (that fit in the ceiling).
