You need an old receiver or something like this

plug the sound card green plug OUT into the receiver AUX or amp
using a cable that is stereo phone jack to RCA. Then hook the
speaker up to the amp.
or get your self a self amped speaker ....note it will have to be
plugged in or battery powered.
