Well, I am only using Windows Defender, and Malwarebytes. I contacted
MS. I even let the tech have remote access to my laptop... my data is
all on an encrypted drive. He screwed around for thirty minutes
before he gave up and said my 3 year old Lenovo Edge was incompatible
with Creators Edition. Then he said MS was coming out with patches
that will fix all the problems... yeah right! I restored my Acronis
image and will forgot about creators update. It might have something
to do with the fact that my temp goes to a RAM disk...tech said no...
but I don't care. The only thing that I wanted updated was virtual
desktops and they will probably never do that. I am not all that
thrilled about Win 10 .. and I would rather pay for it with NO adds
then put up with the <info> pop ups. If it wasn't for the systemic
security improvements I would stay with Win 8.

Creators update has had massive issues for me when an AV other than windows
defender is installed during it's update. I've resolved it by reinstalling
& going direct to the creators update then putting AV back in (work
required... I just use windows defender at home).
No guarantees it will work for you though.
