needed to run the CAD software for the CNC controlled mill/engraver.
currently running on a older i7 in a laptop so a newer one with good video would help. a fair amount of editing sometimes on scanned images.

the ASUS ROG looks interesting, has room for two drives and a real video graphics card and will fit under the bench OK. wish it or whatever I get has a external eSATA port. the ROG takes a 2.5 drive and a M.2 SSD slot still compiling components to get myself a go/nogo list working. that way I get exactly what I want/need without alterations after.
ALIEN ALPHA is interesting also but overkill. sometimes good.

that link, DAM, that's small.
thanks

Whats the box need to be able to do? If you're looking for really tiny
running linux desktop these work well (Odroid XU4). I have one running
max2play and vnc into it from other locations as needed.

If you're looking for mini-itx specifically there are quite a few options
running celerons, i3 or atom based
