OK. I will have Unifi in my house, a Unifi in my exterior back yard and I also have a Netgear Range Extender WN1000RP_IG plugged into an outlet in my garage. You could draw a straight line from the Netgear extender through the interior Unifi and to the exterior Unifi.
The range extenders' SSID = UNIFI SSID _EXT which was set up by Netgear software. It uses the same security and password as the UNIFI. The range extender uses a separate IP address. So should I change the Netgear extender SSID to match the UNIF by removing the _EXT or does it matter? You do this by plugging into your normal network.
