Windows 11 (and 10 for that matter) licenses get associated with your
microsoft account when you login to the system with the account.  If you're
worried about the license, just boot up on the hold drive, create/use a
microsoft account to login to the system and that will then save there for
further use.

It sounds like you've found the legal way to upgrade to pro.

If you're looking for something from the high seas then you could always go
to mass grave <dot> dev and use their scripts, which will allow you to
change the edition of windows, then activate it using a HWID.
