I am using a drobo fs and it is fully supported by drobo. 

But I have had my eye on those samsung drives for a long time now. 

Need to save up to get those beauties.

If you're using RAID in your NAS box, Synology advises against using WD
Green. Simply because it lacks TLER.

The Samsungs are the way to go. F3EG (HD203WI) or the newer higher density
667GB per platter F4EG (HD204UI).
