Just some ATTO 2.46v numbers I recorded in anticipation of the 3rd Seagate
drive due today and the 4th I just bought on eBay (0.5k to 8,192k range).
My game box currently has a WD Caviar Black 640 gig drive for Steamapps
folder backup and downloads I use (CPUz, GPUz, drivers etc.) and a Seagate
series 7200.12 500 gig 2 drive RAID 0 array.
WD Caviar Black basically stays between 100 and 110 MB's per second read
and write speeds from 16k through 8,192k with the all important 4k speed
(approximate Windows boot file size) being 54 MB's read and 66 MB's write
(strange..).
Seagate 7200.12 2 drive RAID 0 array is basically twice as fast from 16k
through 8,192k and the 4k speeds being 97 MB's read and 86 MB's write
(makes sense..).
I'll update as soon as I add my other two drives unless I decide to get
ambitious and test a 3 drive array. :>)
