IIRC, the last SCSI card I used before going all IDE / Sata was a 29160.  
Worked great..

The only caveat is to remember to install the new card in a slot while the old 
one is still there,
then boot the PC with both cards installed and let Windows install the drivers 
for the new card..

Then and only then, shut down again, pull the old card, and hook the drives up 
to the new card.

Otherwise, you can run in circles trying to make things work and/or boot 
properly, etc. 

Don't ask how I know.  :)  :)
