Will Windows XPpro accept an Adaptec 29160?
Have old PC using an Adaptec 2940UW. I coerced this PC up to WinXPpro.
I runs well enough, but it is no "Ricky Racer" for certain. It is stable
as a stone.
Would like to swap into this PC an Adaptec 29160, BUT, I can not find
any newer drivers for this card beyond Windows 2000. So I ask?
The swap will be what I call "ugly." Basically, another SCSI PC
environment into a new sandbox.
I have done this many times in the past w/o too much grief. Yes, lots of
"clean-up."
