I've always said USB is a little flaky or cranky. Add in a USB KVM and all bets are off...

Duncan, plug the mouse and KBD directly into the PC affected and see if all is well. I have a 4 port KVM switch that acts flaky with my Logitech optical mouse so I just plug the mouse into the front USB port of the box I want to use it on and disregard the KVM (my cordless mouse wouldn't work with it at all). My KVM works fine with my KBD and video so I can live with the mousy antics. Best!
