Hey guys, long time no talk-hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and Happy
Holidays to all! :)
So what do you guys recommend as the best HD to throw in a NAS/Drobo/etc
nowadays? There's a bunch of new HD tech out there:
1) The WD drives with 4k sectors (EADS vs EARS):

and http://www.anandtech.com/show/2888
2) 3TB drives that aren't recognized by most systems:

3) And some drives that only have 2 platters that're supposed to be faster:

(think this is one of them)
etc, etc, so I was wondering what drive you guys think is the best drive for a
NAS/Drobo, etc?
And while we're on it, any Drobo opinions, especially now they have many more
options/products, like the Drobo S, Pro, FS, Elite etc?

Or would you recommend some other data storage/backup device? Cheers!
