I do NOT use SSD, but, I have followed this thread since it started.
From what I gather, your SSD needs to be OS loaded to READ Mostly, and,
WRITE 'NOT MUCH.' Anything the OS needs to do in real-time (pagefile,
eventlogs, OS stuff) needs to be done somewhere else than the SSD.
True; I was never able to figure this out in my mind. But, I do not do
laptops either.
So, perhaps, if you only have the SSD, AND, you are loading/unloading
stuff, you may be thrashing your SSD; and, in the end, stuff just slows
down. JMHO ATM.

Next to System Config Tuner it says to run it for more details, and the status says (in
red) "System configuration is NOT optimal" though I have to run it to find out
why apparently.
And you can't run Secure Erase on a bootable or partitioned SSD apparently.
So given the first one (SSD Optimizer) was I really supposed to be running this
once a week? Somehow I missed that...and what does the System Config tuner
mean when it says system config is NOT optimal? Are all you other SSD
owners/users using this tool and running it weekly and all that jazz?
Figured I'd check first before going and doing it and making things possibly
worse...! :P

I think that AHCI has to be enabled for the trim stuff to work.

I have the 160 is mine is fine. Are you just loading up more stuff?
Bloat is a problem after months...with windows.
