Have you tried to restore the BIOS to the default setting? Sometimes
playing around with settings can bring on random weirdness and it pays to
reset it just to eliminate that possibility. Do you have the most recent
BIOS for your mobo? Happy Holidays!

Sadly, the system now seems to be experiences random lockups and
reboots. The frequent is erratic, though. This mostly happens when I
