I have a few USB devices that have no Win7 drivers, like a Casio
Thermal Printer, and Hauppauge USB PVR, and some really old software
I still use = Chessmaster3000 which does not run in Vista or above. I
need the Hauppauge to monitor security cameras that require a RCA
video in and I see no need to update.
I am not so sure about copying the container, if it is legal and if
it will let me do this like VMware would.. which is why I asked if
anybody had, in fact, attempted it.

I think that if you install your virtualization software on your laptop
just transfer the XP container file and it should work fine. Why won't
your software run on 7?

I have MS Virtual windows XP Mode installed in my primary Windows 7 PRO
computer. I would like to put this on my laptop as well which is running
Windows 7 Ultimate. Can I just copy one virtual XP Mode from one
computer to another .... will it work... should I get another free
license for the laptop? Anybody try this?
