Hello, Only had my SSD's a few months and yeah, they are wicked fast. I have 8GB RAM, so I just turned off the swap. I turned off defrag and search and other crap that is either 1. wasteful of resources and/or 2. going to increase wear and tear on the SSD's. I got 2 - 120's Vertex 2's and while they only go at 3, I plugged them into my 6GB ports. It's been awesome though, like others have said... quick start up (~9 secs) and fast shut down (Never timed it). Running Win7 Pro. Used all the suggestions from the list here on board etc - been very happy. Glad I didn't wait anymore with the SSD's... Another tip I read, to keep drives performance up; I let my system sit idle overnight, like once a month, so the drives can do their maintenance.
