Yesterday Outlook 2010 stopped being able to search my whole mailbox. Any
search I do only go back a few days, even though my entire 50,000 message
mailbox is sitting on the hard drive and I can go into "all mail" and scroll
through it. If I do the search in Windows 7, it will actually go through
everything and find the right email, but when I open it the wrong email pops
up. It appears to me that somehow the Outlook/windows 7 search index is
broken. I have tried going in and telling Windows to rebuild the search
index, but that didn't fix anything. It says 79,000+ items are indexed, and
doing the rebuild took only a few seconds. That doesn't seem right.

Searching the same email account on my laptop works just fine.

I search through my email constantly and not being able to is really
frustrating (especially since my organization moved from Google Apps to
Exchange just recently). Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.
