IF you were close to the triggering of WPA, (getting near 6<?> or 7 points),
AND,
the IF drive that failed was the original drive that was IN the original
hardware hash
for the WPA checking , (It could have been re-purposed, but without changing
the Vol-id)
Then loosing *the point* for it might/would have triggered WPA.
That makes sense in you know how WPA works.

FWIW one of my storage drives failed but that should not trigger a activation.

particular episode was after a UPS failure and everything shut down but turned right back on.
OS is XP Pro.
Has anyone every seen this happen ? Not really looking for a fix just wondering
if I am alone out here :-D
